Role
Your role as a Graphic Designer will be to create visual concepts to communicate information. You will make everything from posters to logos and marketing materials. You will be able to use your Graphic Designers skills to transform elements such as shapes, colors, typography, images, and more to convey ideas to an audience. Graphic Designers often need to communicate with clients and consumers to develop designs that portray an intended message. They also collaborate with other graphic designers, marketers, business analysts, writers, and programmers to create successful products, campaigns, or websites.
As a Graphic Designer, you are responsible for playing an important role in marketing and audience development. You will be expected to keep track of assigned daily, monthly, and weekly tasks, in addition to any special projects and research required.
To be a successful Graphic Designer one must bring CREATIVITY, and ENTHUSIASM and excel at being detail-oriented to manage email marketing, time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed on time, and communicating with clients and teammates.
The role of a Graphic Designer is to help bring marketing and branding ideas to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design company logos, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and website elements.
- Meet with clients or other team members to determine requirements and vision for design elements, which may include multiple strategy meetings.
- Create multiple different versions of a similar product and send them through approvals.
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends by attending workshops, and courses, and reading relevant material.
- Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.
- Work with internal technology software and hardware.
- Select fonts, colors, shapes, designs, styles, and layouts for projects.

- Have an active interest in art/design and are passionate about the work you deliver.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Experience with computer-aided design
- Generally reachable and responsive to team members via email and Slack
- Autonomy and ability to thrive in remote work environments
- Able to self-direct and properly manage one’s time
- Must be friendly, assertive, and able to clearly communicate with clients by phone, video conferencing, and email
- Ability to work under high stress and pressing deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and execute at a high level with speed
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and cross-departmentally, and the ability to relay ideas clearly
- Able to multitask efficiently and without issues
- Strict attention to detail and cross-checking data
- Able to make autonomous decisions on how to handle customers based on company morals/values and set guidelines
